Daniel - Owner / Operator of “Razorbill”.
Daniel recently returned to his native North Pembrokeshire with his wife Katy to raise their baby son, Barnaby. Daniel is a very keen amateur Naturalist and has a passion for the area. His enthusiasm and local knowledge means that he can provide insight and guidance to best meet your specific needs and hopefully ensure that your Charter is enhanced as a direct result.
Daniel also works as a Freelance Project Management Consultant and can call upon his extensive experience of working with public and private sector bodies alike to best address client need, especially in relation to commercial Charter.
Daniel is qualified to RYA (Royal Yacht Association) Advanced Powerboat, Commercially Endorsed level. Daniel is also a volunteer crewman for the local lifeboat station.
Owen is one of our crew, with a particular interest in Diving (PADI qualified).
Owen comes from a Forces and Fire Service background, and now manages a local holiday park where he lives with his young family. Owen is also a member of the local volunteer lifeboat crew.
Simon (Scaramanga) – Crew / Diver
Simon is a qualified BSAC assistant instructor and BSAC Dive Leader, he holds GUE fundamentals, and is IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix qualified.
Simon works as a Project Manager for a Local Health Board, and lives with his young family (who are also Scuba fanatics) on the river Teifi in St. Dogmaels (where he also has self catering holiday accomodation). Simon is also a member of the local volunteer Lifeboat crew.
Both Owen and Simon share Dan’s passion for the area and can provide relevant information on the local wreck /dive sites and are happy to make up the numbers /act as dive buddies for parties with uneven numbers, by request.
Geraint recently retired from the Police Force. Geraint shares the same passion for the area and is a mine of information regarding local landmarks and history as well as being able to provide some great insights into the habits of the local marine wildlife. In his retirement Geraint is now able to fully indulge his passion for traditional Coracle fishing in his native Cilgerran, and has taken Daniel under his wing as a ’servant’ on the licence this year.
Geraint is also one of the Deputy Launch Authorities (DLA) for the local lifeboat station.
Aaron – Crew
Aaron’s father is a commercial skipper and there is no doubt Aaron will shortly be following in his footsteps. Aaron is a talented fisherman….at sea, on the Coracle and with Rod and Line (where he represents Wales at Fly fishing). He is due to finish school next year and cannot wait to be old enough to join the local lifeboat station (where his older brother is a Crewman and his father is Senior Helm).
